Yangmo Yoo received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, in 1999 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in bioengineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Systems Design Engineer with Philips Healthcare, Bothell, WA, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor of Electronics Engineering and the Interdisciplinary Program of Integrated Biotechnology at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. His current research interests include medical ultrasound imaging and its clinical applications in diagnostics and therapy.
