William D. Gregory

William D Gregory received a B.S. degree in physics from Georgetown University in 1961, and the Ph.D. degree from MIT in 1966. He is currently board chair and Chief Science Officer of NovaScan Inc., Milwaukee WI. He is a registered Professional Engineer in WV and WI and a licensed Patent Agent in the US. His commercial experience includes work at the Westinghouse Corporation Commercial Nuclear Division, Raytheon Research Division, BDM Corp, US Navy Mine Defense Center and Wandel und Goltermann, GmbH. His academic experience was as Professor or Dean at Georgetown University, Clarkson University, Gannon University, West Virginia University and most recently at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he is Professor Emeritus of Health Sciences and Electrical Engineering. He was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Senior Scientist Fellowship in 1978 to the Universitaet Tuebingen. He is an inventor on over 100 US and foreign patents, has published 150 peer reviewed papers and coauthored one textbook (The Science and Technology of Superconductivity). His current research interests are in the use of electrical property measurements in biology and medicine.
