
Tapas Kumar Maiti
Tapas Kumar Maiti received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in chemistry and the M.Sc. degree in biochemistry from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 1974 and 1976, respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Kalyani University, Kalyani, in 1984. He was a Post-Doctoral fellow working on the area host-symboint interaction at the molecular level at Indian Institute Science for two years. Currently, he is a Professor of Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. His current research interests include, Peptide and glucan based Immunomodulators for cancer therapy, Tissue engineering, Bio microfluidics and Nano Biotechnology.
