Johann Wanek received the PhD degree from the University College London, United Kingdom. He is currently a medical physicist at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich and a research assistant at the Institute of Evolutionary Medicine, University of Zurich in Switzerland. His primary research interests include the development of MRI-compatible sensors, nanoscale imaging of ancient cells and quantum effects in cells.
