Ken Fuchs

Ken FuchsKen Fuchs is currently the Sr. Standards Consultant at Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. a manufacturer of electronic medical devise such as patient monitoring, ventilation, anesthesia and warming therapy systems.

Ken’s background has been focused on networking, connectivity and system architectures at various point of care medical devices companies including Siemens, Draeger, Mindray Medical and the non-profit Center for Medical Interoperability which was established in August 2013.

Ken is also active in standards development related to medical device connectivity and interoperability. He currently serves as the chair of the IEEE 11073 Standards Committee for medical device communication and is involved in a number of other related standards development efforts in ISO, IHE, HL7 and AAMI.
