Workshops and special session proposal at EMBC 2024

The Therapeutic & Diagnostic Systems and Technologies Technical Community is organizing different events at EMBC 2024.

New frontiers of hyperthermia and ablation techniques: innovations, challenges and practical guides” – workshop – July 15, at 8.30

A full-day workshop titled “New frontiers of hyperthermia and ablation techniques: innovations, challenges and practical guides” will present the different technologies and innovation in the field of energy-based and minimally invasive interventions for tumor treatment. The attendees will benefit from a series of hands-on on modelling and data analysis. In addition to several speakers from the academia (Dieter Haemmerich, Punit Prakash, Paola Saccomandi and Leonardo Bianchi), the workshop will host a medical doctor (Jason Chiang), and a representative from industry (Chloé Audigier). The workshop is chaired by Paola Saccomandi and Punit Prakash.
