A Postdoctoral, Visiting Scholar, Research Associate position in the University of Rhode Island, Biomedical Engineering is available starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral, Visiting Scholar, Research Associate will be a primary contributor to Dr. Besio’s Neuro Rehabilitation Laboratory in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. S/he will conduct experiments with our advanced EEG system and perform signal analysis.
Primary areas of interest include: (1) EEG experience, (2) artificial neural networks, (3) statistical analysis, and (4) design of experiments (not in particular order of preference). Further interest will be given to those candidates who also have experience with (5) head phantom modeling and stimulation. The successful Postdoctoral, Visiting Scholar, Research Associate will join a team of signal processing and hardware design faculty, neurologists, neuro-pharmacologists, and neuroscientists currently dedicated to this project.
Required qualifications: minimum of M.S. degree; M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree in neuroscience, engineering, computer science, or closely related field; course work or research experience (publications a plus) in one of the areas of interest.
