The IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NANOBIOSCIENCE thanks its reviewers, editorial board members, and most importantly its authors and readers for their support in 2015 and wishes them all the best for 2016! The Transactions experienced a 20% growth in submissions relative to 2014 to 185 manuscripts. The average time to first decision for manuscripts submitted in 2015 was 2 months and the rejection rate was 40%. The 2014 impact factor reached a pleasing value of 2.3 thanks to the hard work of my predecessor as Editor-in-Chief Prof. Michael Hughes. The special issues on the “10th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA 2014)” edited by Mitra Basu, Yi Pan, and Jianxin Wang (issue 2), “Micro- and Nanomachines” edited by Walter Paxton, Samuel Sanchez and Takahiro Nitta (issue 3), the “IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM 2014)” edited by Xiaohua Hu and YadongWang (issue 5), the “Engineering Sciences for Biology and Medicine Conference (ESBM 2015)” edited by Ramzi Maalej (issue 7), and the “8th International Conference on Nano/Molecular Medicine and Engineering (IEEE-NANOMED 2014)” edited by Jin-Woo Kim and Deok-Ho Kim (issue 8) contributed greatly to the success of the Transactions in 2015.
