Alejandro Lopez Valdes is a research scientist at Eriksholm Research Centre, in Denmark. He holds a BSc in Biomedical engineering from ITESM in Mexico, an MSc in Bioengineering from The University of Groningen in The Netherlands and a PhD in Neural Engineering from the Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin in Ireland. He joined Eriksholm Research Centre as a research scientist in 2016. His research efforts focus on the electrophysiological aspects of hearing, building evidence towards intuitive and efficient, user-driven audiological support systems. His contributions span from audiological applications of electrophysiological signals to novel acquisition methods for ear-level electrophysiology.
