Dr. Lejla Gurbeta Pokvić, the Director of Verlab Institute, invites all TC members to join the Institute as External Associates so multidisciplinary cooperation in future research and projects can be established to contribute to advancement of mutual interest areas. Verlab Institute is located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the first research institute of this type in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It represents a serious investment which increases scientific competitiveness and excellence of researchers and professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina and region, setting the path for well needed transition to a knowledge-based economy. We emphasize our multidisciplinary character and dedication to innovative research strategies, education and more efficient use of the European investment funds. In the coming period, the Institute aims to contribute to goals namely: improving the development of science and technology and its impact on other segments of society on the basis of internationally recognized standards, and training a new generation of highly qualified staff for competent scientific research. The Institute aims to take the place of leader and bearer of technological development in the application of digital technologies in the economic sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by application of innovative systems in the public and private sector operating within national and international regulations.
