Biography

In the decades prior to entering academia (1975-2000), built and led successful business units providing strategic global biomedical engineering and healthcare information systems. Ran reliable and efficient business operations, product/services delivery, and new product development for in-house and outside customers though teamwork, mentoring, and innovation.

Since entering academia in 2000, developed a strong, multi-faceted role in teaching, research, publishing, funded-consultation, and both industry, community, and academic service.
