Bahram Parvin received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1991. He is also the adjunct professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of California where he teaches advanced courses on bioimaging and integrative biology. His laboratory aims at technology development for molecular pathology, identifying novel biomarkers for tumor progression, and screening novel probes for targeted delivery. He is the General Chair of ISBI 2013 and has been a member of organizing and program committee for a number of IEEE Conferences.
