William P. Marnane
William P. Marnane received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the National University of Ireland, Cork, Ireland, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., in 1989. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland. He was a Visiting Researcher to the Electronic Devices Research Group, Department of Physics, University of Linkping. His research interests include biomedical signal processing and digital design for DSP, coding, and cryptography.
