Vinay Pai

Vinay Pai received his Ph. D. in mechanical engineering from Florida State University in 1997, conducted postdoctoral research at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, followed by faculty appointments at New York University, NY and Upstate Medical University, NY. He was a staff scientist at NHLBI from 2008 through 2012. Since 2012, he has been in the US National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), and is currently directing the division of health information technology at NIBIB.
