Sunder S. Rajan

Sunder S. Rajan received the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, in 1984. From 1984 to 1987, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, working in the field of in vivo NMR. He subsequently was an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Hospital until 1996. During this period, he was involved in MRI research. From 1996 to 2006, he worked in the industry participating in clinical research and product development of contrast agents. He is currently a Researcher at the Center of Devices and Radiological Health, FDA, Silver Spring, MD, USA. His current research interests include MRI technology, safety aspects of MRI and MRI based biomarkers.
