Spyretta Golemati

Spyretta Golemati (M’97) received the Diploma degree in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in 1994, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in bioengineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine, University of London, London, U.K., in 1995 and 2000, respectively. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA. She is currently a Lecturer in Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens. Her research interests include ultrasound imaging and signal analysis, arterial biomechanics, and respiratory mechanics. She has coauthored 26 papers in international scientific journals, seven book chapters, and 40 papers in international conference proceedings. She is an Associate Editor in Elsevier’s Ultrasonics journal.
