Shaikh Anowarul Fattah

S. A. Fattah (S’02-M’09) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1999, 2002, and 2008, respectively. He was a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow and later a Visiting Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA. In January 2000, he joined as a Lecturer in the Department of EEE, BUET, where he is currently a Professor. He has authored more than 95 international journal and conference papers. His research interests include the areas of system identification and modeling, speech, audio, music, genomic, and biomedical signal processing, biometric recognition, multimedia communication, and control system.
