
Satoshi Ayuzawa
Satoshi Ayuzawa received M.D. and Ph.D. from University of Tsukuba in 1986 and 1998 respectively. In 1992 he became a board certified neurosurgeon of the Japan Neurosurgical Society, and in 2008 a board certified member of the Japanese Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. From 2010 he has been the president of the Society for Mind-Body Science. From 2005–2012 he was an assistant professor at the department of neurosurgery, University of Tsukuba, and currently an associate professor at the department of health, Tsukuba University of Technology. His areas of interest include functional neurosurgery, complementary and alternative medicine, and integrative medicine.
