Soumyadipta Acharya, MD, MSE, PhD, is Assistant Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He also serves as graduate program director of the Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design in the Whiting School of Engineering. He is research technical director of Accelovate, a partnership for global health innovations at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include appropriate healthcare technologies for resource-restrained customers and neural engineering.
