Riccardo Pietrabissa (firstname.lastname@example.org) is a full professor of bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano and the president of the Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingeneria. His research activity has been focused on experimental and computational biomechanics in the cardiovascular, orthopaedic, and tissue engineering, especially concerning prostheses, biomechanical models for artificial-natural functional interfaces, and numerical simulation of biological structures. He is a cofounder of the Laboratory of Biological Structure Mechanics of Politecnico di Milano.
