Rebecca Bascom received the A.B. degree in french studies from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, the M.D. degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, OR, USA, and the M.PH. degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. She was with the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University previously. She is currently a Professor of medicine at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA, USA. Her research interests include the areas of pulmonary medicine, lung toxicology, and occupational health.
