Ramana Pidaparti

Ramana Pidaparti received his Ph.D. degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Purdue University, West Lafayette and currently, he is a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia. Previously, he has been on the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University as well as the Purdue University School of Engineering & Technology at Indianapolis. Dr. Pidaparti’s research interests are in the broad areas of multidisciplinary design innovation, Computational intelligence and informatics, computational mechanics, micro/nanotechnology, and STEM education. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Gamma Tau, and Who's Who societies. He has won several awards for his research and teaching. Pidaparti is a member of professional societies including Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science; Fellow of Royal Aeronautical Society; Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers; Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics; and member of American Society of Engineering Education.
