Pranab K. Dutta

Pranab K. Dutta (M’10) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, India, in 1984, the M.E. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 1992. He has been a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, since 2004, and the Head of the School of Medical Science and Technology, since 2009, at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he joined as a Lecturer in 1993. His main research interests include optical imaging, image processing, and machine learning for biomedical applications.
