PAVAN KUMAR received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in environmental sciences from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the M.Tech. degree in remote sensing from the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, India, in 2010. He acted as a Lecturer with Jammu University, Jammu, India, and Banasthali University from 2011 to 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Kumaun University, India. His current research interests include forestry, crop forecasting, and urban heat island.
