Peter Pesl was born in Linz, Austria, in 1985. He received the Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in medical engineering from the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences, Linz, Austria, in 2010. He is currently working toward the Ph.D degree in electrical and electronic engineering at the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technologies, Imperial College London, London, U.K. Since 2011, he has been working as a Research Assistant in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Imperial College London. His research interest includes emerging technologies in diabetes management such as intelligent decision support systems and closed-loop insulin delivery.
