PhD Nicolas Duchateau is currently Associate Professor at the Polytech Lyon engineering school and the Creatis research team (Université Lyon 1, France). He obtained his PhD in 2012 from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. This work has been done while he was post-doctoral researcher at the Hospital Clínic, Barcelona, Spain, and at the Asclepios research project, Inria Sophia Antipolis, France. His main research interests target the statistical analysis of cardiac function, for the understanding of disease apparition and evolution, with special dedication to the fields of echocardiography, resynchronization therapy and heart failure.
