Nekane Larburu
Nekane Larburu was born in Basque Country, Spain, in 1986. She received her MSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Public University of Navarre, Spain, in 2011.
She completed her master thesis at IMEC, The Netherlands, where she worked on signal processing for Atrial Fibrillation detection. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in telemedicine at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Her research interests include design methods and architectures for quality of service and quality of data computation, the impact of the quality of data on healthcare systems, telemedicine systems development, smart IT application and pervasive healthcare.
