Merryn Tawhai (email@example.com) is a professor of bioengineering at the University of Auckland. She is a deputy director for the MedTech CoRE and deputy director of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute. Dr. Tawhai is an elected member of the World Council for Biomechanics, associate editor for Annals of Biomedical Engineering and Pulmonary Circulation, and an editorial board member for Physiology. She is a member of the Technical Subcommittee on Cardiopulmonary Systems, IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society.
