Mark E. Semler attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, where he majored in mechanical engineering. He holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer for the Zucker Institute for Applied Neurosciences, Charleston, SC. Previously he was the Vice President of Research and Development Engineering for Orthofix Spinal Implants in Dallas, TX and held positions at Datascope, Boston Acoustics and several startup companies. Mr Semler is a member of the ASME.
