Kei Nakai received the M.D. from Gumma University, school of medicine, Japan, in 1994 and the Ph.D degree in medicine from University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2005. From 1994–2000 he was a Resident in Neurosurgery at the Tsukuba University Hospital. From 2007, he has been an Assistant professor of the department of neurosurgery, faculty of Medicine, University of Tsukuba. He has obtained the Japanese Board certificate of Neurological surgery in 2001, Japanese Board certificate of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases in 2005, and he has been a General Clinical Oncologist of Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy from 2008. Dr. Kei Nakai, is a member of International congress on neutron capture therapy, The Japanese Neurosurgical Society, The Japan Stroke Society, The Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Japanese society of Spinal Surgery and The Japan society for Neuro-oncology. His areas of interest include neurosurgery, brain tumour, boron neutron capture therapy and rehabilitation robotics.
