Jesper Mehlsen received the Medical Degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1979 and became Specialist in Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine in 1990. Since 2010, he has been the head of research at the Coordinating Research Centre at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospitals. Since 2016, he has been also chief physician at the Syncope Centre in the Cardiology Department at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospitals.
