Jaya Narain (firstname.lastname@example.org) is a Ph.D. degree candidate in the Global Engineering and Research Laboratory at MIT, where she works on designing energy efficient drip irrigation technology. She earned her B.S. degree in mechanical and ocean engineering from MIT in 2015. Her research interests include design for constrained environments, global engineering, fluid-structure interactions, thermal design, and assistive technology. She is a co-founder of MIT ATHack, an assistive technologies hackathon.
