Enzo Mastinu
Enzo Mastinu (S'15) received his M.Sc. degree with top grade in Electronic Engineering from Universita’ degli Studi di Cagliari, Italy, in 2014. During and after the M.Sc. he worked as HW/FW designer for a spin-off company and a postgraduate research scholarship, respectively. He is currently an industrial Ph.D. student at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Chalmers University of Technology (CTH) and Integrum AB, Gothenburg, Sweden. His research focuses on embedded systems for prosthetic control, mainly regarding upper limb amputees. Research interests cover bioelectric signal acquisition and processing, electronics design, algorithms for pattern recognition, as well as bone-anchored prostheses and osseointegration.

Evaluation of Computer-Based Target Achievement Tests for Myoelectric Control
Real-time evaluation of novel prosthetic control schemes is critical for translational research on artificial limbs. Recently, two computer-based, real-time evaluation tools, the target achievement control (TAC) test and the Fitts’ law test (FLT), have been proposed to assess real-time controllability....

An Alternative Myoelectric Pattern Recognition Approach for the Control of Hand Prostheses: A Case Study of Use in Daily Life by a dysmelia subject
Abstract
The functionality of upper limb prostheses can be improved by intuitive control strategies that use bioelectric signals measured at the stump level. One such strategy is the decoding of motor volition via myoelectric pattern recognition (MPR), which has shown promising...
