
David A. Gough
David A. Gough received the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, in 1974.
He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Joslin Clinic, Harvard Medical School, and became an Associate with the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. He is currently a Professor and Vice-Chair in the Department of Bioengineering, University of California San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA. He is the cofounder of GlySens Incorporated, San Diego, CA.
Dr. Gough is a Fellow of the AIMBE and the AAAS, and a recipient of the Gordon Engineering Leadership Award.
