Bruce Russell is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and principal investigator at the Centre for Brain Research in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland. Bruce is Head of the Psychopharmacology and Neurodynamics Laboratory. Prior to his current role Bruce worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh and as a prescribing advisor for a group of GP Practices. He then worked as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in geriatric, acute and forensic psychiatric facilities in Scotland. He is a member of the Schizophrenia International Research Society, the NZ Schizophrenia Research Group, the NZ Pharmaceutical Society and the Auckland Drug Information Outreach needle exchange programs.
