Behnood Gholami received the B.Sc. and M.A.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, and Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. In 2009 he received the M.S. degrees in mathematics and aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA. He received the Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010. Dr. Gholami was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Tech and the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 2010 to 2011 and 2011 to 2012, respectively. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of AreteX Systems, Inc. His current research interests include machine learning and application of dynamical systems and control theory to biomedicine.
