MhD, PhD Antonio Berruezo qualified in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 in the University of Granada and obtained the Cardiology title in 2002. He completed the two-year fellowship program of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and obtained the PhD degree in 2009 in the University of Barcelona. He has been awarded with the European Accreditation in Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology. Currently, is working in the Arrhythmia Section, Thorax Institute of the Hospital Clinic, University of Barcelona since 2005. He is involved in several research projects related with atrial fibrillation, cardiac resynchronization therapy and ventricular arrhythmias, being ventricular tachycardia ablation his main area of interest. He has published more than 140 original manuscripts in the most relevant peer review journals.
