Associate Professor Dr. Somsak Choomchuay
EMBS Thailand Chapter would like to pay condolence to the passing of Associate Professor Dr. Somsak Choomchuay on 27th August, 2018. He was the 1st EMBS Thailand Chapter Chair. We were saddened by this immeasurable loss to his family and those who are close to him. All of us recognize all the contributions he has made to our EMB society; he diligently volunteered for various positions and contributed to virtually all our events by IEEE and EMBS Association. He was a truly generous man who affected us all in a positive way. He was in fact one of the founding members of EMBS Thailand Chapter since year 2010. During his term, he reached out to all the EMBS members not only in Thailand, but also internationally.
He will be deeply missed by all of us.
