Vojkan Mihajlović
Vojkan Mihajlović (M’13) received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Niš, Serbia, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2006.
He worked as a Senior Scientist for Philips Research on technologies for convenient acquisition of electrical signals of the brain and algorithms and methods for brain (EEG and fMRI) signal analysis, as well as on neurophysiological models for cognitive stress. The application areas of his research included brain–computer interface for communication and control, neurofeedback for relaxation, and treating cognitive problems and lifestyle applications for stress and burnout prevention. Since August 2012, he has been with the Holst Centre/IMEC, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where he is responsible for developing signal processing solutions for wearable and wireless EEG technology and exploring novel EEG application domains. He holds seven patents.
