Muhammad Salman Haleem

Muhammad Salman Haleem received B.Engg. in Electronic Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan in 2008. He attained M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA (2011). He is currently a PhD research student at School of Computing, Mathematics and Digital Technology, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. The title of his thesis is Automatic Detection of Features to Assist Diagnosis of Retinal Diseases. For this project, he received the prestigious Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award (DHPA) from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). His areas of interest are Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning and Data mining.
