IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine's unique aim is to publish original work in the intersection of engineering and clinical translation. The journal's focus is interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers, healthcare providers, and industry and aims to publish results and best practices from these translational efforts.
Mohamad Forouzanfar is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University where he is working on the development of noninvasive physiological measurement and biomedical signal processing methods for assessment of the cardiovascular system. Prior to this, he was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He obtained his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa in 2014. His research interests include medical devices, signal processing, and machine learning.
