Israr Bin M. Ibrahim
Israr Bin M. Ibrahim hails from Banda Aceh, Indonesia. He received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Syah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia in 2009 and M.S in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. He is currently pursuing PhD in Engineering at University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia (US).
He was honored Fulbright Scholarship from 2011 to 2013 to pursue his Master’s degree. He was a research consultant at Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Center in Banda Aceh, Indonesia from 2013 to 2014. He is currently a teaching and research assistant at College of Engineering, University of Georgia from 2014 to 2016, supporting Matlab programming classes. His research interests include biomechanics, bio-inspired design and discrete model in physics.
