David Soto Iglesias
PhD David Soto Iglesias graduated in Electronics Technical Engineering, in 2009. After graduating, he stayed two years at the Universidad de Barcelona (UB) and Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC) where he received his MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering. In February 2012, he enrolled the PhD program in the Physense research group under the supervision of Dr. Oscar Camara, in April 2012. In September 2016 he obtained the degree on Information and Communication Technologies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Lately, in April of 2016, he joined the Arrhythmia unit at the Hospital Clinic from Barcelona as support clinical researcher. His main research interests target multimodal data of the heart integration and the cardiac electrical activation patterns analysis on applied electrophysiology.

Electro-anatomical maps (EAMs) are commonly acquired in clinical routine for guiding ablation therapies. They provide voltage and activation time information on a 3D anatomical mesh representation, making them useful for analyzing the electrical activation patterns in specific pathologies. However, the...
