Brian E. Lawson

Brian E. Lawson (S’09) received the B.A. degree in physics from Grinnell College, Grinnell, IA, in 2006. He received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Fu Foundation School of engineering and Applied Science, Columbia University, New York City, NY, USA, in 2007, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral scholar at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. His research interests include robotics, mechatronics, and applied controls.
