Bilwaj Gaonkar
Bilwaj Gaonkar is a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of California at Los Angeles. His research lies at the intersection of image processing, machine learning and clinical informatics. He obtained his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Biomedical Engineering with a focus on extracting information from Big Data in Neuroimaging. Dr. Gaonkar currently leads several projects aiming to leverage clinical imaging and informatics data to improve medical decision making.
