All nominations for the Practitioner positions must be submitted through the online nomination system. Nominations must be received no later than 19 August 2024.

The below noted information is required for each nomination:

• Name of Candidate
• Candidate Contact Information (Address, Phone, Email)
• IEEE Member Number
• IEEE Region of Candidate
• Brief background of the candidate, including information about current EMB, IEEE, or other Society volunteer activities (biography style)
• CV
• Position Statement of Interest stating candidate’s vision for the position (up to 500 words)
• Headshot Photo

Practitioner Representatives are to be individuals who have shown significant career achievement and leadership in clinical, industrial, government and activities outside of academia. Examples include medical doctors, engineers in industry, clinical engineers, government or non- academic policy makers (e.g., FDA), and those with experience commercializing biomedical devices. The goal is that these individuals will strongly represent and advocate for the biomedical application strengths of EMBS and give insight into future career paths for students and EMBS members.
