IEEE WOMEN IN ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE LEADERS” SERIES TALK 150 150 Standards Community (SC)

The MITRE & IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) are launching a new “CHATS WITH WOMEN IN ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE LEADERS” initiative that offers insight into the knowledge, skills, and experiences of executive leaders in women science and engineering. The goal is to gain a greater understanding of what it takes to be an executive and a leader, the challenges faced and overcome, and effective practices for navigating the business or the work environment. They will share details from their vantage point on cultivating a strategic mindset and “business acumen”, the approach to making difficult decisions, lessons on how to be impactful, the benefits of establishing and building relationships, learning from failures and much more.
