The New York Academy of SciencesOn September 21-23, 2016, The New York Academy of Sciences, along with The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and the Journal of Internal Medicine, presents 13th Key Symposium 2016: Bioelectronic Medicine — Technology Targeting Molecular Mechanisms. Bioelectronic medicine promises to mobilize the body’s natural reflexes to develop effective and economical alternatives to pills and injectables. This symposium will bring together experts from academia, government agencies, and private industry to present the latest cutting edge research in this burgeoning new field. Keynote speakers are Kevin J. Tracey, MD, of The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and Peder Olofsson, MD, PhD of the Karolinska Institutet.
